The Point Protector is Montbell's original design to protect the tip of your pole. A metal chip is embedded into the protector to improve durability. Protect your pole tips with this protective rubber cover when they are not in use and when on the trail. Point Protectors not only extend the life of your pole tips, but reduce damage to vegetation and impact on trails. Replace the guard if it shows signs of heavy wear. Design inspired from nordic walking.
*Note that some older models of trekking pole don't have a design compatible with the Point Protector.
