Technical Systems
Dual-Axial Hood
Adjustable at two points, the Dual-Axial hood provides excellent visibility and comfort. A Velcro tab adjusts height, and two draw cords around face combined with our flexible bird-bill brim create a lightweight and functional system.
Lead-in Cord System (Bottoms)
We put draw cords in the waist pockets to allow you to cinch the hem tight while keeping out the winter chill. The inner cord is protected from the elements and allows custom fit adjustment with one hand.

About the material: CLIMAPLUS Mesh
Used in Montbell's Stretch Light Shell Jacket, Pants and Vest, CLIMAPLUS MESH is double knitted using extremely fine polyester fibers. The space between these very thin fibers serves two important functions : entrapment of air for added warmth and wicking of moisture away from skin. CLIMAPLUS MESH is lightweight and compact. It dries quickly and resists pilling even after repeated laundering.
